"The bowls are from a series I call “Tossed and Found” these bowls I painted when there was a call out to artists to make bowls highlighting the forced starvation in Gaza. A notable series of her work titled “Tossed and Found” highlights her commitment to environmental awareness and human connection. Heather salvages discarded clay in various stages of completion from other artists and manipulates it in her own unique style. What would otherwise end up in landfills finds new life and becomes a unique collaboration between artists."
